My first Pips and a scraptacular happening

This is my first Pip. I have already quilted 8 blocks. Only 4 more to go. My Janome is perfect for this size of quilt. I could never have done it with my old Pfaff.

My second Pip. The above picture is how it looked this morning, after 2 days of work and the bottom picture shows the top finished with sashing. Now I have three borders to go and then the top will be done (o: Not my colors, but very pretty. I am making it for a dear friend!

Mijn tweede Pip.

Today Bibi decided to join me upstairs in my sewing room. She has never done that before. It was nice having her company and hearing her groan every now and then when I was making too much noice. The older she gets, the more she does it.

Please go over to Jodi's blog. She is having a Sew Scraps Along. There is something happening there everyday and hey, don't we all have scraps! You can already find the first 'scraptacular' tutorial here, designed by Nanette, one of the first bloggers I 'met' when I started blogging. Enjoy!

Your PD looks wonderful Simone - as does your lovely Christmas quilt. You're on a roll already with your PIPs :) Happy New Year.

Simone, both of these are beautiful! I love the colors on the second one.

You are moving right along. I love my Janome 7700. It has made quilting a lot easier for me.

Happy New Year!

You have plenty to keep you busy for now!! They are both beautiful! I am at my daughter's and one of her cats likes to keep me company while I sew. The dogs don't really pay too much attn. to what I do!

You're totally rocking the PIPs challenge! Congratulations!

Only one of my pups spends any length of time in the sewing room with me. The other one rather take a nap on the comfy soft couch. I'm glad Bibi graced you with her presence!

You really got your sewing machine busy with the PIPS! Both quilts are great, and the scrappy links appeals to me.

Beide Quilts gefallen mir ausgesprochen gut

Liebe Grüße
