Join the challenge

I can hardly believe it, but this year (4 days old) I already joined two challenges. The first one is the One project a month challenge, which challenges you to finish WISP's (works in slowest progress) as Kris and May Britt call them or any other project, one each month.

The second challenge is the Calendar quilt challenge '09. This will become a quilt full of memories for me, knowing that a lot will happen this year (such as turning a certain age and my daughter most likely leaving home in September).

And, if you're in for giveaways (I think there are about 60!) and have time, check out the Whirl into winter quilt giveaway. This is really overwhelming, with so many nice people having such wonderful giveaways. It is also a chance to get to visit many different inspiring blogs!

Kon je het toch niet laten, wat is het project dat je deze maand gaat maken?
Ik vind die give aways erg leuk, helaas heb ik nog nooit iets gewonnen, misschien deze keer.

I had wondered what the S stood for in WISP! I had also seen that you had a joined a couple of challenges. You're going to be busy but in a good way!

Hello Simone, It sounds like you are going to have a very busy year ahead of you. Some of these challenges look fantastic and I only wish I had the time to sign up for some of them. Best Wishes, Evonne xx

Glad you decided to join May Britt and Kris's challenge. Looking forward to seeing your projects. The Calendar Quilt Challenge sounds interesting ... not sure I've got time for that one.
Happy stitching.

Kom even op tegenbezoek. Leuk dat je mijn blog hebt bezocht. Het ziet er hier heel gezellig uit. En wat goed van je dat je al die challenges en give away's hebt opgespoord. Je maakt het ons heel makkelijk zo!

There sure are a lot of challenges out there...have only been blogging since September and it is a lovely way to inspire one to get projects on the move!!! I am working on a New Year Project...an idea from another blogger. Thank you for visiting...and about the poem, it is mainly the first few lines that I keep going over but it has stayed with me ever since school days!!!

I've signed up for the one project a month challenge too! But I think I would fail miserably on a challenge involving me doing something every day - I am much too lazy! Good luck with your calender quilt - I look forward to seeing your progress
