I made this sweet little snowman for a blogger whom I thought needed something especially made for her, since she makes so much for others. I later read, she didn't like snow, since they get so much snow where she lives. But I guess this is different.

Gail Pan makes wonderful designs. She has made a Christmas stitchery wall hanging for us all to make. She says it is a truly quick project to make, so maybe one more nice project for Christmas. Thank you Gail!

I hope you all have a very nice weekend. We will be celebrating Sinterklaas, a wonderful Dutch feast for young and old. And after that, when Sinterklaas has left the Netherlands to go back to Spain, we will start with the Christmas decorations.

I love your little snowman quilt, and I'm sure your friend will love it. I'm about to print off the Gail Pan embroidery too, to make a little wall hanging.

I love my snowman... he now hangs on my wall in the sewingroom...and he makes me smile everytime I see him...:o)
so many beautiful things to catch up on with your blog Simone!! and sorry I have been slack and not got back to you about backgrounds and my 50's photos you asked about!! I just Google free backgrounds and get them that way there are a lot on offer and the photos well some come from the net but most I take photos from my books and fabric!!!

Your snowman has got me thinking of how much I would love to experience a white Christmas. It must be so nice to snuggle up inside and enjoy the lovely warm foods and the crackle of a fire. We are heading into summer and the days are quite hot.
