Some more Magical Christmas and some wonderful fabrics

The top border is a Christmas tree that goes on the left side. After I finish the 'Stars make way..." border, I only have one more to go and then I can put the quilt together. I do think I will have it finished by Christmas now (O:

Look at these fabulous fabrics I bought at Pink Chalk Studio. They are for a quilt I want to make with our black leather sofa.

Here are some more wonderful fabrics. Don't you just love the hugs and the kisses fabric. I really look forward to making something out of these. Pink is after all my favorite color.

And then I got these two patterns by Melly and Me. Their patterns often suprise me, since they often have a very special way of making their softies. Magoo will be made from the fabric the patterns are on.

Finished Quilt (the first one this year) and Silly Bunny

I finished the first out of two quilts I planned to finish before I allow myself to make a new top for a big quilt. I quilted it on the sewing machine and am quite satisfied. Happy I finally finished it.

I also added a picture of one of the Silly Bunnies I made from a pattern by Melly & Me. She loves the warmth of the new quilt. Her friend is upstairs in my daughters room. The fabrics were in a package from http://hiphandwerk.nl/home.html. Aren't the colors just wonderful =) I really enjoyed making them.

Ik heb nog wat moeite met het indelen van mijn berichten. Knippen en plakken wil niet zo lukken. Maar goed, de foto's staan er in ieder geval op.

Van de week heb ik dit patroon binnen gekregen (tweede foto). Had ik gewonnen!



Het kleurgebruik van deze ontwerpster vind ik steeds erg leuk en opfleurend. Het patroon kan nog zo eenvoudig zijn. Door stofgebruik wordt het erg leuk!

Verder heb ik mezelf op dit zelfmaakpakket getrakteerd (onderste foto). Heerlijk ontspannend om te maken. Ik doe alles met de hand, al wordt de naaimachine geadviseerd. Juist in het met de hand naaien vind ik mijn rust.
