What I have been working on this week

I have started working on my Stained QAL again. And just now, I discovered that I forgot a black strip in the blocks on the left. Well, this has happened to me with every block until now, so, I'm not surprised.

During our monthly Quilting Bee, Diny (no blog) showed us how to make the blocks above. These are so relaxing to make in the evenings when watching TV.

One of my nieces asked me to make a happy cover for her iPod. I was almost going to keep it myself, but a promiss is a promiss ...

This came in the post this week. It has  some serious inspiration!
Dit kwam deze week met de post. Enorm inspirerend.

Bibi is gorgeous!

Love your ipod cover... I can see why it was hard to part with it. You have a lucky niece!

Are those "cathedral window" pieces that are so relaxing to make? Yours are so neat. What will you make out of them?

Hugs!

Your work has just been gorgeous lately! It's been so nice to see - I've been in a sewing/health funk and it's so inspiring to see your work - so bright and happy. I love the solid colors you've been using and it's been great to see you step out of your comfort box. Thank you for making my days brighter and happier lately :)

Love your stained glass blocks. How big are they? I think I can figure the blocks out just by looking at yours. Cute iPod cover - lucky niece. What will you make with those cathedral window blocks? Do you join them with a whip stitch like English paper piecing? Bibi is so cute. She brought a smile to my face.

Wat wordt dat een mooi quiltje Simone. Prachtig blauwe stofjes. Toeval of gekregen?

I am sure your niece will love her new iPod cover. At least bibi stands still for a photo, my 2 are always jumping around especially if they think it is walk time.
