Distant Stars at Sunset

This is my quilt for the Tangerine Tango Quilt Challenge. The stars are my Solstice Stars, tutored by Faith at Fresh Lemon Quilts. Two of them are paper pieced (second from top and right star).

Because of the quilting of my Distant Stars, I decided to stay with 'straight' line quilting and not try go into Free Motion Quilting anymore.

Het quilten met 'rechten' lijnen van deze quilt is me zo goed bevallen, dat ik me niet langer meer ga verdiepen in Free Motion Quilting. Dit past veel beter bij mij.

I also did some hand quilting.

You have such 'vision'!! I'm just loving this. I think the straight line quilting was just the right technique for this particular quilt. You've been pretty busy, haven't you?? ~karen
