Tea love, sampler, gnome, owls and Thijme

I have been stitching quite a lot lately and have really been enjoying it (o:
De laatste tijd heb ik veel gestitcht. Heerlijk!

Two mug rugs
Twee 'mok-matjes'

Detail stitchery

Gnome turned into another mug rug.
En nog een mug rug. Dit keer met een kaboutertje.

A fish mat to keep my sister's 'chickens' company.

Another phone cover.
En nog een telefoonhoesje.

Bari's Sewing Room Sampler. I 'cheated' on the sewing machinge. In the pattern it is filled with French knots. I only added the French knots to some parts. Lots and lots of French knots don't make me happy. A few are okay (o:

Bari's Sewing Room Sampler.

Yesterday we moved the last things to Thijme's own new living space in Tilburg. He did a wonderful job furnishing it with second hand furniture that he was able to find via Marktplaats.

Your stitcheries look amazing! I love the mug rugs! And the fish. Thijme's place looks like a real bachelor pad! Good for him. Does that make you empty nesters now?

Cutest little mug mats!!! I should say I have a favorite but I do. :o) Thijme really has a spacious room. Very manly decorating style.

Very cute mug rugs, you must be careful not to spill any tea on them!
Your son has a very nice place to live in for his student time.

Welcome to domesticity Thijme! You have done a good job!

What lovely stitcheries Simone. I was looking for another hand project for the evenings and am doing Autumn Houses applique. I love how your mats have turned out.

Lots of interesting little projects. Anything for Thijme's new place? It looks very nice and I do hope he doesn't get too homesick. Keeping busy makes the time go oh so much quicker.

Wow, you have been doing a lot of embroidery. Love them all but especially the fish bowl.

Your fingers have been busy! Such cute projects you've done. I agree about too many french knots filling in that sewing machine. You were smart to change it up a bit. Wish I'd done that with mine. :)
