Small projects being made

I have been working on some small stitcheries and am really enjoying it.

I think I made the fabric choice due to the autumn weather we have had last week.

Now that I have made my fabric choice I will be using for the bag that I forgot to make together with my bag friends Melanie and Ulla (thank you bag ladies for waiting for me before you post yours) and have practiced on making bis (that's fun!!!) I am now ready to make the bag.

Bedankt dames!!!

I don't think I have ever seen an air balloon so near by. I thought it was going to land in our front yard ...

CUTE gnome! I do believe I know exactly what bag you're making. :o) Can't wait to see it.

Abby does not like the whooshing sound of the hot air balloon. We've had them fly so close overhead they've almost hit the treetops.

Love the stitchery!
We had a hot air balloon land in the next door neighbors yard a few years back. It was rather exciting. No one was hurt either!

We finally have a cool-down here and I am so relieved. You can't imagine how hot it's been in the United States this year. Frustrating.

Take Care!

Totally gorgeous Elf and 'shroom fabrics. I keep thinking of Autumn too. Mmm rich reds and conker colours. :-)

I was amazed at just how noisy hot air balloons are. For some reason I imagined them to be silent and ignored the fact that they have a huge gas jet. LOL

Fijn weekend, liefs, Ria.

Cute stitcheries Simone! Those mushrooms always remind me of my childhood. I think my grandmother read me books with little trolls who lived in mushroom in the woods. The owl fabric is very cute!

Your post brought back some memories for me. When I would stay at my mom's in Augusta, Maine, the hot air balloons would wake me early in the morning floating closely over the roof of her house. Sadly, she passed away suddenly in '82 at the young age of 50, but the memory brings a smile to my morning.

Hallo Lieve Simone, lovely stitchery...love the fabric you have chosen for the bag...when we lived in Melbourne...we would see the hot air ballons quite often...they landed in a paddock near home...Hugs Lyn
