Christmas is coming

It has been more than a month since I had my last blog post. How time flies. I have been quite busy with smaller projects and I have earned my second Craft Olympic Athlete thimble with Melanie's challenge

Above you can see an Advent calendar stitchery I started on December 1. As you can see, I finished my 9 and am now working on my 10th. You can find the pattern here. And you might also want to visit Elena's blog. She has a lovely story to each little ornament.

Heel leuk!

For a dear friend of mine I made this Advent calendar. It was lots of fun to make! You can find the pattern  here.

With these flowers I earned my second thimble. I made the flowers with my new Janome punch machien. These are so much fun to make! Almost addictive.

Bijna verslavend.

A friend of ours turned 60 in November. Since I couldn't find a nice card, I decided to make these two owls.  I think this does look better (o:

This is the FQS Mystery BOM 2011. All finished to be sent off to Anne at Maple Leaf. Once again she did a wonderful job in quilting. I will show you the whole quilt, once I am done with the binding...

Thank you so much for the flower brooch. I have added this post to the sidebar on my blog for all the Craft Athletes. What lovely advent calendars. Nice idea to do a cross stitch a day for one of them. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished quilt.

Will share my latest makings ASAP.
