Today I finished another Zakka project. The organizer. Lots of work, figuring out, unpicking the binding twice etc, but it was worth every single bit of it! Tip: if they say to cut the binding 45 degrees, then do so. Save you lots of work ;o)
Thanks to Krista's great tips, this piece of work became a lot easier.
En opnieuw een Zakka project afgemaakt. The organizer.

I also finished a bag for one of my sisters. She had some leftovers from covering a chair and she asked me to make her a bag. this is the result.
Ook heb ik een tas voor een van mijn zussen gemaakt. Ze had nog een rest van de bekleding van een stoel en vroeg mij een tas voor haar te maken. Hier het resultaat.

LOVE the organizer! Good advice to trust the pattern - something I often struggle with.
Love the house fabric you used in the organiser! And the binding looks perfect from here!
Fantastic organizer! Love the fabrics you used. Lucky sister to have such a wonderful bag made for her.
congrats on both finishes! The org is just darling and the bag - so fun with that fabric!!
Love both this items. The organizer was a lot of work but your house fabric is so lovely - it worked out a treat. Well done.
Your organiser looks great. I've nearly made one, but am struggling with the binding.
The organizer is just perfect! You have the nicest ever fabrics too. The bag for your sister inspires me to use some of the upholstery fabrics I have in my stash.
Die organizer is het einde en wat is dat voor een mooi stofje wat je gebruit hebt. De tas is ook weer goed geslaagd.
Amazing work on the organiser. The fabrics are just right for it.
I'm sure your sister will love the bag. The lining is great with the main fabric. I have used furnishing cotton on bags before- so durable.
Your organizer is so cute! I agree, it was a lot of work, but definitely worth it.
Hello Simone,
Great work on the organizer. Love the quote you chose today.
Happy days.

Wauw, weer twee schitterende afo's. Complimenten Simone, beide zijn erg goed gelukt! (ik zou best jouw zus willen zijn;-) )
Wonderful finishes, Simone! That organizer is AMAZING... what a beautiful job you did on this one. I can imagine the many hours needed to dedicate to finishing this... Speaking of tips, that tutorial link you had a little while ago to making an infinity scarf really helped me fix the mistake in the one I was making. When seeing the tutorial, I knew at once where I went wrong. Now I can make another more easily. ;o) Thanks! Hope all is well with you there. ((HUGS))
Very nice. The inside of the little pouch is great and the bag made out of the chair fabric is awesome.
I love the texture it seems to have.
liebe Simone ,
deine beide Taschen sind wieder wunderwunderschön !
Bewundere immer wieder deine fantastischen Farbzusammenstellungen , sie sind so fröhlich !
Viele liebe Grüße
Rena
I'm very in love with both of them for different reasons. I love the fabric with houses and all the pockets in the first one. And the texture of #2 is amazing. Love love these.
Love the organiser, Simone - the house fabric is so sweet - you're so clever - it looks quite a complicated little pattern, but so beautiful. Love the bag, too :) The colour of the fabric is fabulous :)
Die organizer is fantastisch! Knap gedaan.
Love them both, Simone! You are doing great on all the zakka projects.
Adorable zippy bag. Love the house fabric. Lucky sister to receive such a terrific tote.
