Winter Wonder Land

Yesterday it started to snow and look at the loveliness outside our garden. It's about 5 cm deep (2 inches) deep. Bibi loves snow. She runs around as though she is a pup (she's almost 10!)

Look at the giveaway I won at Sue's The House that Love Built. She had an extra copy of the book. It is beautiful with great projects in it. My goal is to make at least one quilt from it in 2011 (o:

The House that Love Built gewonnen heb.

I was one of the first ones the receive the SSCS parcel. Julie from Jewells is my secret swap partner. We were allowed to open the package with the ornaments. This is what Julie made for me. She also added a pretty towel from Australia. Thank you, Julie!

Bedankt Julie!

This is what I have been working on over the past days. Lots of projects and lots of fun to make!

Dit heb ik de afgelopen dagen gemaakt. Veel projecten en heel leuk te doen!

Laura was home this weekend. Last year I made her an Advent's calendar, so on Sunday when she went back home, I gave her a bag full of surprises to put in her calendar! Some are handmade, some I have bought and some are to eat.

Snow looks so lovely when it first falls doesn't it; but it starts to lose its attraction after a while. What a lovely idea to give your daughter a pile of advent gifts.

Druk, druk, druk.
groetjes, Dorien

Your winter wonderland is beautiful. We still have our air conditioning running. We've had days where we could turn it off here and there but in true Florida Thanksgiving tradition it was running for our holiday.

Laura is really going to enjoy her daily treats from mom!

Liebe Simone,
