Lots to show (o:

It has been two weeks since I blogged for the last time. I have too much scheduled, which is somehow starting to take over. But, I have been able to make and work on some nice projects in between.

Look what I got myself: a Kindl. Now this makes reading life much easier for me! I have difficulty reading books with a small print and small line spacing. And because of that, I was reading less and less. Now I am really enjoying it again (o: And before you know it, you have your book. I am now reading 'A Single Thread' by Marie Bostwick. Jackie from Canton Village introduced the author in a post.

And look what I made over the past two weeks. A bag organizer. I had a workshop organized by Mai from Handmade by Mai. If you think you can not make a bag, or can not place a zipper in a pouch, then you should take a workshop with Mai. She is so very talented in bag making (and much more). I just have to make the binding on the natural colored one and then it is done. The pink one still has to be worked on.

Last week we also had our monthly quilting bee, which is always very much fun! The ladies are so kind and interested. There is one lady who turned 81 this weekend. For the bee she baked some delicious cookies. And look at the lavendel goodness she made me. While I was having a walk with Bibi, I remembered the gorgeous lavendel fabric Gaby once gave me. So, I made her a candle mat for her birthday and the rose card, also with fabric I got from Gaby.
Gaby has a lovely web shop. Please go and check!

This is a sneak peek of some small Christmas presents I am working on, while listening to Christmas music, which Laura recommended to me.

Laura had me dat geadviseerd (o:

The quilt Bibi is sleeping on is an unfinished quilt that I took downstairs to finish the binding. Everytime I put it over the side of our couch, Bibi takes it again, when I am gone. I think it is so sweet. If I put another quilt or blanket there, she doesn't take it.

Look at the lovely post I got from Karen! Thank you Karen for the lovely fabrics and buttons that go to it perfectly!

I also got post from Satu. She posted me the blocks for the Euro Bee and added some lovely fabric. The fabric on the right is from a Finnish designer. The colors are so happy and bright. And look at the lovely stamps they have there. The little fairy even has glitters!
And I will end with the lovely postcard Satu added. Everytime I look at it, I really have to smile! Thank you, Satu!!!

Hey Simone Bibi must like that gorgeous quilt...it is absolutely beautiful in colour...Can you show it to us...when/if you can get Bibi off it!!! You have been very busy as usual...I haven't started any Christmas sewing except for 1 surprise quilt for Hubby!!! I hope I can get to it. Great post!!!♥x

Bibi is so sweet on 'her new' quilt;) I have read that animals might choose their resting place along the same colour, which they themselves are. Atleast Fenix prefer orange - red - brown fabrics the best... So exciting to see your peeks and your pretty goodies - especially that owl fabric is nice!

Hallo Lieve Simone, what a character Bibi is.....enjoyed reading your post and seeing what you have been working on....Hugs Lyn

I think I should ask for a Kindl for Christmas. At the moment I have to go to the library to find large-print books. I just can't see the regular books anymore, especially at night. All of your quilt related things look great! I just love Bibi on that quilt. So cute. Those colours are so autumn-like. I think I would love to sleep with that quilt too! And the card, gosh, I couldn't stop laughing! Sorry to leave a comment so late, but I thought I had left one a few days ago when you first posted this. It's gone, so maybe I didn't do it right. Blogger often makes my comments disappear.

groetjes, Dorien

Lots of really pretty stuff on your blog. I love that your dog likes that particular quilt.

You might not blog much, but you do have a lot to show and share with us. That Kindl looks great. Can you skip to the end with it haha! Glad you get back to reading again with it. The bag organizer looks hard to make - Hugs Nat

Great makes and sneak peeks. Love the card too!

I've yet to try an e-book reading device- looks interesting.

I think Bibi is giving you a hint about the future of that quilt! :-)
