Schnibbles, Tablerunner and My Garden

These past few days it has been very hot here. During the week I did not get much done, but today I decided to 'finish' some project.
Above you see my very first big Schnibbles (the left picture is not good). It is made with 2 cake layers and some yardage. I used Blush by Basic Grey, a wonderful line to work with. I decided to finish this top, so I could join the Fat Quarter's Shop Jolly Jabber Schnibbels challenge. Challenges do seem to help me finish projects (O:

That is probably why I started this challenge with Melanie too, because I wanted to make tablerunners but never got to them. This tablerunner is made according a tutorial by Marlene Biles Garden Charm Runner with 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" Verna Bake Shop Sampler Squares. I had to make the pattern a bit different, so that it would fit our table the way I want it to.

And here is another challenge that I started with Theresa: Lynette Anderson's My Garden BOM. I had been doubting about it for a long time, but am very happy I decided to join after all.
I have needle turned the appliqué. Another challenge for me. The line used here is Evening Mist by moda. I just love it! These are the colors I just love to wear!

And this is Thijme's outfit for the football final that is played right now. I don't watch, because it makes me much to nervous. Laura and Thijme are in Amsterdam to watch the match with a big big crowd and Ger is walking around here, annoyed, because the Dutch are getting so many yellow cards.

Your Schnibbles top looks great! Love the table runner too! I almost did Lynette's BOM but didn't. The first block is lovely, as I'm sure the rest will be! :0)

I love the changes you made to the table runner. I prefer your version to the original.

Are you like most quilters and have loads of UFOs? You seem to finish what you start all the time! :)

Rena

Your schnibbles is beautiful. Such pretty colors. You've been busy! Yes, a lot of yellow cards in that match. Quite evident everyone was playing hard to win!

The Schnibbles quilt is beautiful, that fabric is so pretty. I like the table runner too, I love the Verna fabric - I have a charm pack of it but nothing planned to sew it into yet! Your first block for My Garden looks fantastic, you did a great job with the needleturn :D

I'm sad, because your marvellous team lost the game. I tried to do my best cheerings last night... But four years and then again;)
My Garden BOM is also nearly finished. I'm going to do the bird tonight. I don't like applique small pieces... Let's see what happens;)
Again lovely schnibbles!

So sorry you lost,my cheering suport did not help!!

I love your Schnibbles! Those fabrics are wonderful. The table runner looks great too.
My Garden BOM turned out very nice. I love that button. Applique is one of my favourite quilting techniques. I usually do freezer paper applique, but needle turn works for me too.
Well, it looks like Holland will have to wait for another year to take top honours, but coming in second is nothing to sneeze at!

Jij komt ook niet uitgeschnibbeld he hihi! Leuk is tie weer!

Some very beautiful challenges! I wonder how I missed the My Garden BOM. The fabric selected for that one is excellent.

Ganz liebe Grüße an dich, deine Jutta

Lots of great challenges for yourself. I love the block with the crow. Very pretty fabrics. I am going to have to be on the look out for that line.

I love your Schnibbles project! It's wonderful. Also the table runner and the applique project! You have been busy :) So sorry that the Netherlands did not win the World Cup. I was watching and cheering for them.

I love Thijme's football outfit - I am sorry that Holland didn't win. We did get up in Australia to watch and were disappointed with the loss.
