I couldn't help myself starting new projects ...

When I saw this on Bev's blog and found this link to it on Paula's blog, I knew I had to make it for my dear friend Louise! I found the fabrics in my stash, the FQ bundle Tulip Time by Renee Nanneman. It is the perfect match to this project!

I made two more blocks for my Christmas Elves quilt, cut the squares and made the stars and pinwheels for the other blocks.

My Christmas tree is ready to be quilted (o:
Mijn kerstboom kan nu gequilt worden (o:

OK, I wasn't going to start a new project, but how can I resist a Valentine's sew-along wall hanging, offered by Robin at Daisy Quilts. I already made the first heart (bad picture!)

Furthermore, Jacqueline at The Log Cabin has started a free Christmas BOM: Visions of Christmas, from a pattern by Debbie Mumm. Nine blocks, so that should make you a finish for Christmas 2011. Take a look and get started (o:

And then Stephanie at Loft Creations is offering a very cute Cup Cake pattern. Please have a look. It is now on my list of projects I definitely want to make very soon!

OOO so many lovely new projects. I need a kick to get me going at the mo. The hearts look so sweet and your stitcheries a lot of fun.

I made all the pinwheels and stars in one go for the Elf Quilt too. It was easier than trying to remember each month how I did something. Good luck assembling the other blocks. You have donw all the hard work now.

Your Christmas tree quilt is looking stunning - you certainly are getting a head start on your Christmas projects :) The red and white Elves quilt is also very striking - my favourite colour combination.

Hope you are having a great weekend!
