I started new hexagon flowers. The others are all finished. Now comes the part of making the top. Not sure if I will continue by hand or do it on the sewing machine.
I finished my elves a while ago, but didn't want to show them, because I hadn't ironed them. Well, they are still not ironed, but I decided to show them anyways. I am making these together with Melanie, Diana and Suzie. Suzie and I are first stitching them, before putting the blocks together. Melanie and Diana have finished the whole blocks. Please have a look there!
This is the bag I made for my sister's birthday. I found the duck fabric while we were in the States. It was the first fabric I saw there and had to buy it for her. It is a pattern Terry mentioned on her blog. Fun and fast to make! Thank you, Terry, for the link!

I finished my Schnibbles just in time for the parade (look here and here)! This was one with lots and lots of cutting and drawing lines. 240 small squares and each square had to be marked with a line. Then of course each one had to be sewn onto the rectangles etc. etc. Of course everyone who made this Schnibbles had to do the same, but I think this was the first one that took such a long time.
Today Laura and I went to the antique market in Tongeren, Belgium. It was nice, walking around all those stands with lovely items. I couldn't with hold myself from buying these large vintage buttons and a little panel, that was painted around 1960. In my next post I will show you a picutre I made, that was inspired by the lady who made this.
A while back, Dolores sent me a skein of embroidery floss. Since I want to make the free Bom Flowers with it (see button on the left), I asked if Dolores could send me another one, so I would be sure I have enough. Look at the lovely fabric and card she sent along. Thank you, dear Dolores, for this wonderful suprise. I think I will use the fabric for this BOM. It suits the thread perfectly!
Last week, one of my sisters visited us for a few days. It was lovely having her with us. On Sunday the weather was lovely, so we took a nice walk. These are some views we came accross. I am always totally impressed, by the roots of trees. Fascinating!
