En dit is de tweede quilt die ik af heb gemaakt. De quilt voor mijn zus Adriënne. Het is de Fat Quarter Mystery BOM 2011 (bloemen). De kleuren zijn zo mooi en zacht. Zelfs de zon kon het niet reflecteren. Er was ook een blok met een tulp, maar die was zo eenvoudig, dat ik besloten heb die niet te maken. Snap eigenlijk nog steeds niet hoe ze die hadden kunnen toevoegen. Maar, dat is het leuke aan quilten: je kunt altijd wel een oplossingen vinden (o:
Anne van Maple Leaf heeft deze quilt gequilt. Zij behandeld de quilts met zo veel liefde en zorg. Ik ben heel blij, dat ik Anne gevonden heb! Het is de tweede quilt die ze voor mij heeft gequilt. Er zullen nog vele volgen (o:

Esp. love your first quilt - that zig zag quilting adds such interest!! Did you mark that first or just go for it? fm foot?
Wow! Your Staind quilt is absolutely gorgeous! I always loved your choice of solids, but the back and the quilting are just wonderful! Love it. The BOM quilt is lovely too, what a difference!

Wonderful finishes. I love the architecural feeling of the stained glass quilt and I love how you photographed it. Your BOM is quite the opposite, soft and pretty. I love your varying styles of "play." Enjoy your blackbird.
Congratulations on the great finishes. I loved your Stained Quilt from the beginning, and you found a clever way of quilting it. The other quilt has such lovely soft colours. I can't tell which one is the block replacing the tulip.- You have such beautiful weather now.

Both quilts are stunning - and you have made the bags look lovely. I particularly like the quilting on Thijme's quilt. It contrasts well with the squares and rectangles. Nicely done Simone.

das sind zwei ganz besonders schöne Quilts. Mir gefallen Deine stained glass window Quilts ja schon lange, das wär vielleicht auch was für mich.
Der Zweite ist viel zu schwierig für mich DU hast ihn aber sehr schön genäht!

Wat een mooie quilts laat je hier zien. De 2e quilt is heel mooi, maar vooral de quilt die je voor je zoon hebt gemaakt vind ik heel bijzonder. Mooie kleuren, en het quilten helemaal in stijl. Chapeau!

Both quilts are fabulous! The zig-zag quilting adds the intensity of the quilt. Love it! And the backs of the both quilts are wonderful! Welldone, Simone!

beide Quilts sind super schön geworden. Die beiden Nutzer werden sich sicher total freuen. Der stained class window Quilt hat mich erinnert, dass ich auch schon mal 2 Blöcke genäht habe. Es sind Blumenmotive, leider jetzt bei den UFO´s.
